This recall depends on community members who are willing to step forward.
CANVASSER REQUIREMENTS
Becoming a canvasser is the most important role in this recall. Canvassers collect the signatures that determine whether this petition succeeds — and Elections Alberta requires every canvasser to be officially registered.
To be a canvasser, you must:
Be an eligible elector (18+, Canadian citizen, ordinarily resident in Alberta, and living in the Grande Prairie electoral division for at least 3 months).
Complete the Application to Canvass for Recall Petition form and email it to Casey Klein at [email protected] for registration with Elections Alberta.
Use only the official petition sheets issued by Elections Alberta.
Carry your canvasser ID and show it upon request.
Follow the Canvasser Code of Conduct and all Elections Alberta guidelines.
Sign each petition sheet as a witness for the signatures you collect.
Only registered canvassers may collect signatures.
CANVASSER ID
Elections Alberta will mail canvasser ID cards 2–3 business days after receiving a complete and valid application from Casey Klein.
Processing times may be longer during periods of high application volume.
Canvasser ID must be returned to Casey Klein at the end of the recall period. Casey will return all IDs to Elections Alberta by the required deadline.
